It all started when I saw a wet Marshall speaker on the side of the road. The Marshall speaker was broken and cannot be repaired. I knew my boyfriend is a Marshall fan. He all has different products from Marshall. My idea was therefore to make something of this speaker where he still sees the look of the speaker. The function of the speaker is not reflected in the new design.

It eventually became a hocker, a footstool where you can store things. The speaker has been completely recreated and therefore looks exactly like the original.

The speaker is covered with black cotton, in the part where the sound normally comes out, the hocker is covered with a mesh fabric that looks exactly like the mesh of the speaker itself. All original parts of the speaker are mounted on the stool, making it a perfect look-a-like.
