Pull Over

There it is, a frame as strong as steel. With a warm sweater, which covers half of the frame. The sweater is not knitted, but woven. By using the pleating technique, dozens of sleeves can be made. You couldn't sit without those sleeves. The sleeves envelop the wearers; dozens of metal strips that support you when you take a seat. The jersey warms the touch between you and the frame. Vertical 'cables' are formed through the cooperation between the wearers and the sleeves of the sweater. A clear three-dimensional effect.

Often chairs are covered with several pieces of fabric. Hours are spent reupholstering a chair. Thousands of staples are shot through the fabric into the wooden frame. When the fabric is worn or dirty, the chair is discarded or reupholstered. As a result, a lot of waste is produced. This must also be possible. A removable fabric that can be washed and changed when necessary is a solution for this.

'Pull over' is a chair with removable upholstery. So that you can wash the textile, or exchange it with a different color combination. It is a simple and quick way to upholster a chair. Without extra man hours and mounting material, the 'Pull Over' offers you a sustainable choice.
